Pioneers for Christ is a ministry of the Church of God with the vision of reaching and keeping boys committed to the body of Christ through discipleship and service. Our goal is to charge the spirit of our young boys so that they will become great men of God. PFC presents an exciting journey that will take boys through becoming a Pioneer for Christ to the challenge of becoming a Boy of Valor. On the journey down the “Warrior’s Path” they can complete different gates. As they apply themselves to these gates, they find that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them.
They’ll be taken from “Boys” to become powerful men of God, by embracing the boy’s talents; pushing them to their highest potential. Teaching them things such as:
ü Bible Study
ü Scripture Memorization
ü Understanding our Church of God Heritage, Faith and Commitment
ü Understanding How to be a Good Steward
ü Understanding How to be a Good Church Member
THE WORD:
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4: 13)
THE COVENANT:
I am not perfect, I have not reached the goal, I have not finished the race, I refuse to give up, and I will forget those things in the past that has stopped me from obtaining that goal. I will continue daily following Christ, with the living hope that one day I will be like HIM.
THE CREED:
One Purpose … One Faith… One Christ (One Faith, One Lord, One Baptism = Unity)
The Pioneers for Christ meet every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 5pm – 7pm.
